"Tallon is also a former executive director of the non-profit 4-Day Week Global, which conducted four-day-week pilots starting in 2022, in which hours were reduced while pay remained the same"
So it's a movement to force companies to pay you more money for less work, and use the government to enforce it. This would last for awhile and we would then have a 3-day work week movement.
I'm a consultant and work with many companies. It's so apparent to me how so many people can't even do simple things at their job right. Even when it's not my job, I typically end up picking up the ball that someone dropped and get paid lots of money to do it. It's one of the many reasons why I stopped working at a full-time job for any one company.
It's 10X worse at unionized jobs.
Rewarding such incompetence will only result in the downfall of the US/Canada economically.
